Join a community of teachers & facilitators
with a deep love of nature.
Off-Grid Retreats is growing our teacher community with an evening and day of hiking, wandering, talks and activities. This gathering will take place at Shelterwood Collective, a Black, Indigenous, and LGBTQ-led community forest and retreat center, healing people and ecosystems through active stewardship and community engagement.
In the summer of 2021, Shelterwood became the official stewards of a 900-acre forest and former church camp right above the Russian River in Sonoma County, California, on Unceded Kashaya and Southern Pomo territory. Renovations are underway for cabins and lodging, meanwhile the expansive grounds and riverside meadow are a prime location for outdoor practice.
This gathering is open to all certified teachers of mindfulness, movement, contemplative and therapeutic practices with experience, skills and/or interest in leading retreats and workshops in nature.
Various lodging accommodations and locally sourced vegetarian meals will be provided (all FREE of charge!) to showcase our glamping tents and other offerings.
Lodging will be assigned by Off-Grid Retreats, based on need and availability.
There is a limited capacity, so to inquire and/or reserve a tent please contact us (info@offgridretreats.org).
